Lodge 69 Was Double Booked: two couples, one mountain cabin and a closed road

A cabin, two bookings and no way out

The official synopsis describes a quiet weekend getaway that becomes an unexpected shared vacation once two couples learn they rented the same mountain cabin. Episode 1 shows how it unfolds: one pair walks in on the other, both hold a reservation for lodge 69, and a phone call confirms that no other rooms are available and the road is closed. Leaving is not an option, so the weekend has to be shared. The story is a comedy of mistaken reservations first, and the romantic stakes arrive as soon as the sleeping arrangements come up.

Four guests and two small hints

Candy.ai lists no cast for the series, and no creator twin is involved, so the four guests are fictional characters without names in the catalog. The first episode plants two hints worth watching. A partner sent downstairs for a charger is warned to avoid the wrong room. Later, a man answers a request for an opinion about his partner with a quick compliment and a question about his ski goggles. Those two beats show the mood: light, teasing and built on near misses.

Five episodes, two of them free

The run is five episodes, each under two minutes. Episodes 1 and 2 play without an account on candy.ai, and episode 2 continues from the closing hint of the first. From episode 3 on, each episode unlocks for 12 tokens in November 2026, so the three paid episodes cost 36 tokens in total. A month of Premium credits 100 tokens, which leaves a balance for other series after this one. The free guide explains the plans.

Level 4 on our five-step scale

We rate the series 4, Strong. On our scale, level 4 means the paid episodes carry explicit sex scenes for a good part of their runtime. The nudity guide lists each title next to the others. The single official tag, Wife, is the same one carried by My Wife's Best Friend, although that series centers on a licensed AI likeness and this one has no named lead.

Where the official episodes play

The series page is candy.ai/candy-shorts/series/lodge-69-was-double-booked, and the button on this page opens it. Searches for a full version or a free stream tend to land on copies hosted elsewhere. Those copies are not official, and some pages that promise them are scams, a pattern the leaked episodes guide breaks down. The official episodes play on candy.ai, and the first two need no tokens there.

Our take

Lodge 69 Was Double Booked works because its trap is simple to grasp: one location, four adults and a clock set by the closed road. Two couples sharing a cabin need no backstory to be awkward, so the first episode spends its runtime on the mix-up and the hints. Viewers who like a situation comedy leaning toward romance will find the free pair enough to decide whether the other three are worth the tokens.
